Acceptance of Rules:
By making the registration payment, all participants and teams agree to the conditions of the following rules.
Format:
The Kasu League is a Proam 5v5 league on Next Gen (XBOXS & PS5), following the NBA format, with a regular season and playoffs. Divided into two conferences: Majesty for experienced teams and Mamba for newcomers. If a conference has 10 or more teams, the top 8 teams will advance directly to the playoffs. In case of fewer teams, the league will notify via Discord and Twitter the number of qualified teams. Payments and Registrations: Payments to apply discounts must be made before the established date.
Majesty Conference (experienced teams): Pre-registration price (until the deadline on 09/29/23): €35 Standard price (after the deadline): €40 Mamba Conference (newcomers): Pre-registration price (until the deadline on 09/29/23): €20 Standard price (after the deadline): €25 70% of the registration fees go towards prizes in the Majesty conference. 60% of the registration fees go towards prizes in the Mamba conference.
Schedule:
Matches are played from Sunday to Thursday. There is no obligation to play matches on Fridays and Saturdays. Each week, teams must play two home and away matches. Failure to comply may result in disqualification. General Rules:
After not showing up for three matches, a team will be disqualified. If a date for a match is not agreed upon, the league will schedule one randomly. The date agreed upon previously between the two teams will prevail. Cancelling it without agreement forfeits the right to choose a new date. Any misconduct may result in disqualification, at the organization’s discretion. Abusive behavior and offensive language online are prohibited.
Teams:
Teams consist of 6 to 7 players. Each team must have a captain/spokesperson to communicate with the organization. After matches, screenshots of the results must be shared in the Scoreboard channel. Registration is done through the Kasu League form. Team abandonment without a replacement nullifies played matches unless another team takes their place.
Transfers:
Transfers are not allowed once playoffs have started. Players cannot be transferred to another already registered team mid-season. Transfers must be notified and registered on the Discord server.
During Matches:
At least one player must stream the matches on Twitch or YouTube to record results. Improper lineup results in a 0-20 score against the offending team. Streamers must display the league logo in the ProAm arena. Live stream titles must include “Kasu League.” Teams must have home kits with light colors and away kits with dark colors to avoid confusion. Disconnections within the first 3 minutes require a match restart; afterward, continue with the previous result.
Penalties:
Failure to comply with the rules may lead to warnings, loss of matches, or disqualification. All decisions by the Kasu League are final. Public sanctions may be applied to players as appropriate.
